What is General Dental Council (GDC) UK?

The General Dental Council (GDC) is the regulatory body for dentists, dental nurses, dental technicians, clinical dental technicians, dental hygienists, dental therapists, and orthodontic therapists in the United Kingdom. The GDC’s main role is to protect the public by ensuring that dental professionals meet appropriate standards of conduct and practice.
